De motor lijkt mij wat aan de kleine kant. De concurrentie rijdt met 6 liter V12s (Aston Martin, Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini) of 7 liter V8 (Corvette). De Koenigsegg gaat te weinig koppel hebben.

Is het deze week niet een 2 daagse FIA GT test in Frankrijk (ik dacht Nogaro?), op welke dagen vind de test plaats? Is er al ergens een lijstje te vinden van wie er daar on-track zal zijn...?
Op fiagt.com vind ik niets of te niets over de test... vreemd!

Wel zie ik op fiagt.com een berichtje staan over SRT en de Citation Cup:

De nieuws van SRT is al een tijdje bekend dat ze mee willen doen aan de Citation Cup. Ze zijn momenteel met een aantal coureurs in onderhandeling.

De test waarover je hebt vind plaats in Nogaro morgen en woensdag. Echter is er volgens mij niet zoveel nieuws over de test. Hopelijk zijn bijde Corvette's van PK-Carsport-Hoenix aanwezig.

De Test days zijn er inderdaad dinsdag en woensdag op het circuit van Nogaro. Wss zal endurance-info wel net als Racingworld.be opnieuw verslag uitbrengen van deze tests.
Voor de Media days op Monza was er ook niks te vinden op de site van de Fiagt, verwacht daar maar niet teveel van ;)
Hopelijk ontvangen we van endurance-info een deelnemerslijst vanavond.

Verder zal 'Amprex Motorsports' een oude Lambo inzetten in Zuhaï.
Het gaat hier wel over een 2006-versie die hopelijk ge-updated wordt door Hans Reiter. Wie weet doen ze dan wel wat weer dan Zuhai :)

Nu is mijn Frans niet echt denderend. Maar hieruit begreep ik dat het een FFSA test is, waarbij ook FIA GT wagens toegestaan waren. Maar het is dinsdag 6 én woensdag 7 maart OF maandag 5 en dinsdag 6 maart. Volgens mij is "Mardi 5 et Mecredi 6 Mars 2007" onmogelijk.

Ik denk dat jij het over een test hebt die ergens eind maart word gehouden. Ik meen ergens 22 en 23 maart gehoord te hebben...

De FFSA wagen mogen er testen samen met de FIAGT, FIAGT3 en FIAGT4 en de Franse Porsche Carrera Cup. Wss is dit op dinsdag en woensdag; hetgeen wat gewoonlijk wordt gebruikt daar.

22 en 23 maart is het slechtste moment waarop de Fiagt een test kan houden, drie dagen voor de eerste race in China... :rolleyes:

NOGARO - A NEW START

Nogaro is one of the most famous tracks in France, and 2007 is a new start for this circuit, with a brand new pitlane and garage complex, with all the latest technology.

The first ever race at Nogaro took place on October 1960; at this time the track was quite short (1752 metres). In 1973, the new track was much longer (3120 metres), and Nogaro became an important place, where Alain Prost, Rene
Arnoux, Nelson Piquet and Ricardo Patrese showed their potential! In 1987 the track was made wider, changing again
in 1989 (3636 metres). It then became a very technical circuit, renowned for its organisation and the crowds it attracted. Several Formula One teams, such as Williams or BAR, used to come to Nogaro in order to prepare for the Monaco Grand-Prix.

In 2006, it was decided to modernize all the infrastructures, and over more than a year, a new pit lane was built, with a huge modern garage complex. The track might have changed again, for safety reasons, but the philosophy has stayed the same.

Based on the equipment used at the Paul Ricard HTTT, all the latest technologies have been used in order to build a modern and useful race complex. New race control, new media centre, new pits, new time keeping room, new VIP suites, a new TV compound… these buildings will make Nogaro one of the leading French tracks, with top facilities. Along with this investment and equipment, International races are returning to the track, such as the ninth round of the 2007 FIA GT Championship.

Volgens Project Le Mans zet Ebimotors twee Porsches in in Zuhaï, ze dachten eerst aan LMS maar hebben dan toch voor Fiagt gekozen. Busnelli zal de eerste wagen wss delen met Mocia, terwijl de tweede equipe nog niet bekend is. :)

Op Endurance-info een stukje over de aanwezige FIA GT wagens in Nogaro.

- Le duo Collard/Mallucelli s’est attelé comme à Monza à continuer la découverte de la 997, même si renseignement pris auprès de Manu Collard, les pneus amenés ici par Pirelli ne sont pas ceux escomptés.

- Une seule MC 12 présente, celle du duo Kutemann/Waaijenberg engagée par le JMB Racing, qui a également fait rouler la F360 avec Antoine Gosse.
Opmerkelijk toch dat GLPK weer niet van de partij is. Na hun afwezigheid op de testdagen in Monza én ook hier weer (ze waren toch aangekondigd om te testen) geeft dit mij toch niet zo'n positief gevoel...

Hoe zit het eigenlijk met de Vertigo die omgebouwd wordt naar GT2? Wat zijn de wijzigingen? Eindelijk een andere motor?

Zonet de tijden van de testen op Nogaro ns bekeken en PSI is niet slecht bezig! Ze waren 3e in sessie I, 1e in sessie II en 2e in sesie III. Het lijkt er toch op dat de 2e plaats van Paul Ricard geen toeval was...

Luk Hines heeft deze morgen getest in de Psi Corvette C6.R onder een bewolkte hemel. Na een tijdje begon het zelfs te regenen.
Ook Vincent Raedermecker was van de partij, en reed samen met Martin Short in de Mosler MT900r samen met de GT3 wagens.

Naar mijn weten is daar nog niet zoveel over bekend... ze rijden wel Fiagt, was al langer bekend, maar GT2 is nog geen zekerheid.
