Dat ze met de Courage heel wat mooie plannen hebben was bekend, dat ze voor de Pilbeam ook plannen hebben is nieuw. Ach die radiator-boeren hebben een goed jaar achter de rug :D De Pilbeam stond in ieder geval in de JAGA kleuren op de beurs in Luik.

In die kleuren hebben ze in 2004 LMES gereden dacht ik. Naar wat ik gelezen heb is het de bedoeling om de Pilbeam te verkopen.

Klopt, met die Pilbeam in Jaga-kleuren hebben ze inderdaad aan 2 (?) LMES wedstrijden deelgenomen in 2004. Dacht ook dat ze hem wilden verkopen....................maar ze zoeken nu dus coureurs volgens dat artikeltje op pitstop.

De line up van Aston Martin voor Sebring is indrukwekkend:
* Ortelli/Brabham/Turner
* Kox/Lamy/Enge

De DBR9 heeft gisteren tijdens de 4 daags Sebring test 1:58.883 gereden. Ter vergelijking: ACEMO Saleen op Michelins reed 1:57.931 en pole door Corvette vorig jaar bedroeg 1:56.858.

Maserati zou ook toestemming gekregen hebben van ALMS om deel te nemen met MC12. De ACO zal wel het been wel stijf houden; dus (gelukkig) geen MC12 in Le Mans en LMES.

Sebring zal een grote krachtmeting worden in GT1:
* 2x Corvette C6R
* Larbre Ferrari 550 (Bouchut/Gollin/Bourdais)
* 2x Aston Martin DBR9 (lineup hierboven)
* 2x Maserati MC12

Die Maserati zouden ze gewoon moeten verbieden in FIA-GT, LMES, ALMS én Le Mans! Dat is gewoon een GT1 van zeven jaar geleden...

Waarom zijn sommige deelnames volgens deze site (http://www.mariantic.co.uk/lmp/lemans.asp) al bevestigd, terwijl de bevestiging van 45 van de 50 deelnemers pas einde februari bekend gemaakt zal worden?

En, weet er iemand of T2M hun wagen heeft ingeschreven of niet? Ik vind enkel terug dat ze van plan zijn deel te nemen.

Heeft te maken met de resultaten uit 2004 van de 24 uur / ALMS / LMES. Je kunt aan de hand van een bepaalde uitslag een plaats verdienen voor de race van het volgend jaar.

Je bedoelt bijvoorbeeld Courage Competition, Lister en Oreca? Deze teams hebben bevestigd dat ze 1 of 2 wagens in hebben geschreven, echter de ACO moet ze ook daadwerkelijk toelaten (al zal dat bij de genoemde teams geen probleem zijn).

Sommige teams zijn door hun goede resultaten in LMES en ALMS al wel geselecteerd om deel te nemen aan LM.

De bevestiging die op mariantic.co.uk staat is dus niet de officiële vanwege de ACO, maar een officieuze.

Blijkbaar wel :D Fantastisch nieuws: Porsche zal dit jaar aan Petit Le Mans deelnemen met een LMP2 die nadien aan prive teams verkocht zal worden en in 2006 zal Porsche deelnemen met een fabrieksteam met een LMP1 :applaus: :eek: :worship:

Dit alles staat volgens mensen op het 10/10s forum te lezen in het Britse Motorsport News.

Hopelijk is dit een goede motivatie voor andere fabrikanten om ook terug deel te nemen aan Le Mans. Ik denk dan vooral aan de namen die genoemd worden in geruchten: Peugeot, Mazda en Nissan.

2006 zou dan een prachtig prototypes jaar kunnen worden: Audi vs Porsche vs Peugeot vs Nissan vs Mazda.
