eerbetoon aan Michel de stuntman
"This is a big victory," was Joao Barbosa's conclusion, after the Perspective Mosler came home to win the GTS class at the 41st Rolex 24.
“It is very special for Mosler. Last year we had a lot of problems, but this year we have proven that the car can be very strong and be a contender for a win. We were able to win the race, so we are very happy.” The Perspective car lost an hour with gearbox problems before half way, then suffered another 10 lap delay with overheating, but that coincided with the Morgan Dollar Corvette having its own transmission troubles, so Perspective had a lap and a half in hand at the end - in ninth overall. The Rollcentre Moslers were third and fourth in class, both suffering their own delays, but first, third and fourth in class, ninth, twelfth and fifteenth overall, was a major success for the Florida manufacturer. |
