Niet echt, er zitten ook 2 Fransmannen in (Loeb en Panizzi) en ik denk ook 2 Spanjaarden (Sainz en Sola(?))

Het is precies crisis in Finland. Na de glorietijden van Kankkunen, Salonen, Alen, Makinen en Gronholm is nu enkel deze laatste goed geplaatst om de kleuren van deze rallynatie te verdedigen.

Of wordt de nadruk in Finland meer en meer op circuit gelegd?? Met Raikkonen als topper en Nico Rosberg en Heikki Kovalainen in de wachtkamer zal de F1-gekte bij de koele Finnen in het post-Hakkinen tijdperk enkel toenemen.

Er zit een nieuwe Finse generatie aan te komen. Mikko Hirvonen krijgt een kans bij Subaru en de piepjonge Jari-Matti Latvala gaat JWRC rijden met de Ford Fiesta. Er is ook Kosti Katajamaki in een Suzuki.

Is het nu nog steeds niet zeker dat Freddy tweede piloot is? Of hebben die haakjes een andere betekenis?

loix zal ze allemaal rijden misschien die 2 nieuwe rally's iet maar hij zal alle andere afwerken met de 307 wrc of hij nu genomineerd is of niet speelt geen rol als hij maar kan rijden

Ak oki...zolang hij idd maar kan rijden ;) :)

Ter info, Loix rijdt het volledige kampioenschap. Niet altijd als genomineerd rijder, maar hij rijdt alle wedstrijden.

Voor Zweden wordt niet Duval de tweede genomineerde rijder bij Ford maar Janne Tuohino.

Ergens wel te begrijpen dat men een specialist kiest, maar anderzijds toont het toch ergens aan dat men niet volledig gelooft in Duval!

En is nu al bekend wie de tweede Mitsubishi gaat besturen?

Full 2004 WRC programme for Warmbold
German Antony Warmbold is the first privateer to confirm a full 16-round assault on the 2004 FIA World Rally Championship behind the wheel of a Ford Focus RS WRC02, which will be run by British-based Motorsport Specialist M-Sport Limited. The 25-year old, who completed a 12-event programme last season, is looking forward to the challenges offered in 2004 and to improve on the experience gained during his first year of competing at the top level of the sport.

“We set ourselves manageable goals last season, which were to finish every round we started and get as much knowledge of the events as possible. This year we are looking forward to building on that experience and have targeted a number of events where we will be fighting hard for a good finish,” he said. Warmbold will again be joined by regular co-driver, 22-year old Gemma Price from Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, the only female co-driver at this level of the sport.

Warmbold will be entered in a selection of events, including the season opener Rallye Monte Carlo, as third manufacturers car, and the remaining World Rally Championship events as part of a new concept ‘Two Car Team’ run by M-Sport.

Sporting a striking new blue livery, M-Sport have upgraded Warmbold’s Ford Focus RS WRC02 to ultimate specification and will provide all necessary technical and logistical backup for his 2004 campaign.

“I am delighted to have this programme in place and am looking forward to getting the season underway. We have a great base to work from for this year and the increased commitment and support from M-Sport will put us in a great position. I am looking forward to competing for the second time on the events we did last season and also the exciting challenges offered by new rounds in Mexico and Japan and of course the changes to Italy,” said Warmbold.
