FIA GT 2004 - Teams & Piloten

Om het toch een beetje overzichtelijk te houden, stel ik voor dat we de "zekerheden" aangaande de deelnemers van dit kampioenschap in deze thread centraliseren. Echt zeker van de inschrijvingslijst zijn we natuurlijk pas op het einde van deze maand, aangezien de inschrijvingen sluiten op 28 februari.

Dus als jullie nieuws hebben, centraliseer het dan maar hier, ik zal dan in deze eerste post een overzicht maken van GT en N-GT...

zwaan's racing, lijkt mij rob en arjan van der zwaan. zij zijn de eigenaren ;)

bij de scuderia italia mag er nog een naam ingevuld worden. hij is volledig met het team rond, maar heeft het nog niet gepubliceerd. daarom weet ik ook niet of'k het mag verklappen ...

Op de site van Jerôme Mugnier staat het volgende:

...deux ex-pilotes de F1, également passés par la case Ferrari, sont annoncés en GT-FIA. En l'occurence René Arnoux, accompagné de Patrick Tambay. On devrait retrouver la paire de pilotes français sur une F575 GTC alignée par la Scuderia Cavallino en GT-FIA. L'équipe espagnole engagera également une seconde 575 ainsi que d'une F360 GTC.

Na het artikel in Het Nieuwsblad is ook Bert Longin toegevoegd bij JMB (Ferrari 575)

Bert aan het stuur van echte wagen. :D

Matteo Bobbi blijft bij Scuderia Italia, maar is nog niet officieel bekend gemaakt.

Bij het lijstje van deelnemers voor de FIA GT 2004 mag je ook Kurt Mollekens toevoegen! Hij gaan een half seizoen met een Lister Storm rijden!!!

Full-season entries close for 2004

After the closing date for entries to the 2004 FIA GT Championship, at midnight, Saturday February 28th, SRO has received copies of 35 full-season entry forms, which have been sent to the FIA. A number of these entries are still to be confirmed.

However, it would appear that there is a big increase in the GT class for this eighth season of the Championship, with no fewer than 27 cars sending in entry forms, while the N-GT class has received eight full-season entrants.

In the GT class, a total of seven Ferrari 575 M and four 550 Maranello cars would bring the total number of Ferrari cars taking part to eleven. Their main opposition would come from a strong squad of five Saleen S7-R cars and four Lister Storms, with two Chrysler Viper cars also taking part.

Two Maserati and two Lamborghini R-GT cars have sent in full-season registrations, while using the option laid down in the Sporting Regulations to defer their starting date to later in the season.

With the Aston Martin likely to enter the Championship at the very end of the season, this would mean no fewer than three new Manufacturers entering the GT class during the course of the 2004 season.

In the N-GT class, a number of programmes are still being finalised, but there would appear to be a well-balanced category for 2004, with four Porsche cars battling against four Ferrari 360 Modena cars. This limited number of full-season entrants will be completed by a number of race-by-race entrants, bringing the grids up to close to the maximum number of cars allowed by the regulations.

A complete list of the full-season entrants will be issued by the FIA during the second week of March, after the receipt of the entry fees has been confirmed.

Mag ik je vragen op welke van de twee officiële Listers ik Kurt mag toevoegen ? En met welke piloot hij zal samenrijden ? Alvast bedankt voor de info !

Op een derde officiële Lister blijkbaar ;)
