Met dan vanaf 2006 eventueel de WRC-Suzuki. Hyundai? Misschien definitief terug in 2007?

Als ik volgend bericht op wrc.com juist interpreteer, lijkt Suzuki de plan voor WRC deelname in 2006 te ontkennen.

Suzuki unveils Swift road-car
08/09/2004 16:15:33
Suzuki has unveiled the road-going version of the new Swift, which is set to form the basis of its next Junior World Rally Championship challenger. The rallying version is likely to be unveiled at the Paris Motorshow later this month.
It had been thought that the Swift hatchback would form the basis of a step-up to the full World Rally Championship that Suzuki is understood to be planning for 2006, but this now appears to not be the case.
Suzuki is currently a frontrunner in the Junior WRC class for Super 1600 cars with its compact Ignis challenger. The company would need to use a bigger model than the Ignis, however, if it were to take on fellow Japanese firms Mitsubishi and Subaru with a fully-fledged WRC car.

Of klopt het gewoon niet dat ze de Swift willen gebruiken. Het is dubbelzinnig geformuleerd...
