It has been a busy couple of days for driver announcements, with Jacques Villeneuve revealing two deals in the space of 24 hours and Toyota finally confirming Jarno Trulli for next season. So how is the 2005 grid shaping up?

Ferrari:
Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello

BAR:
Jenson Button*, Unconfirmed

Renault:
Fernando Alonso, Giancarlo Fisichella

Williams:
Mark Webber, Jenson Button*

McLaren:
Kimi Raikkonen, Juan Pablo Montoya

Sauber:
Jacques Villeneuve, Felipe Massa

Jaguar:
Unconfirmed, Unconfirmed -> will pull out of the formula 1 next season - for sale!

Toyota:
Ralf Schumacher, Jarno Trulli

Jordan:
Unconfirmed, Unconfirmed -> looking for new engine supplier if Ford stops their activities.

Minardi:
Unconfirmed, Unconfirmed -> same problem as Jordan...

*Both Williams and BAR claim to have valid contracts with Jenson Button for 2005. Button wants to drive for Williams. The matter is due for consideration by the Contract Recognition Board. Both teams have agreed not to contest any decision it makes.
