Armin Schwarz is the only driver to currently hold a contract with Skoda for next year, but is thought likely to only do a limited programme of events. Current driver Toni Gardemeister is also in the frame for a drive, but team boss Martin Muehlmeier said that McRae was one of many drivers who had contacted the team about a drive for 2005.
