Goede of slechte banden is niet eens de hoofdoorzaak van dit probleem. De teams zijn "not amused" met de handelswijze van de Fransman Ratel. Op eigen houtje heeft zijn organisatie die beslissing genomen, zonder de teams te consulteren. Kijk, daar zal hem de pijn zitten 
Daarnaast hebben de teams nooit klachten gehad over de kwaliteit en werkwijze van Dunlop (die opmerkingen zullen ze nu wel wat versterken). Trouwens met Dunlop kun je makkelijker Europa in dan op Avons.
