Wederom twee Cups: BMW 130i 3.0L 6-cyl. en de BMW 120d

In 2006 ziet een nieuwe Nederlandse merkenklasse het levenslicht: de BMW 130i Cup. Het initiatief om met deze nieuwe auto (vanaf september dit jaar bij de BMW-dealers) in cupverband te gaan racen is afkomstig van Circuit Park Zandvoort.
De specificaties zijn indrukwekkend: vermogen 258pk, maximum koppel 300Nm, 0 tot 100 km/u in 6,2 sec en een top van 250 km/u.
