Een wagen testen en betrouwbaar maken lukt alleen maar met endurance-testen en deelnames aan wedstrijden. Belcar, Spaans, Frans of Brits GT waren makkelijke en "goedkope" manieren geweest om de wagens te testen in race omstandigheden. Zolang ze dat niet doen bij Spyker zal het geen succes worden. Door die testjes in Lelystad hebben ze dan wel snelheid gevonden maar zeer zeker geen betrouwbaarheid.
