Dik geluk gehad, denk ik
Quote:
All four cars were weighed after the 2.4-kilometre stage and found to be under the minimum 1230kg for a car without driver and co-driver. The cars were re-weighed in the service park in Lamia and again found to be underweight, but with a discrepancy between the post-superspecial and service park figures. These figures also contradicted the pre-event scrutineering weights, which were declared fully legal.
After discussions between the stewards and team representatives, all four cars have been cleared to continue in the rally today, although Subaru has been handed a ¬60,000 (USD$72,200) fine - ¬30,000 for Solberg's car; ¬20,000 for Atkinson's car and ¬10,000 for Sarrazin's car. Mitsubishi has also picked up a fine for Galli's car.
