Rollcentre zal volgend jaar 2 Radical SR9 LMP2 inzetten (in ALMS) en er zijn plannen voor 24LM. Op het 10 Tenths forum zegt Mick Hyde, medeoprichter van Radical, het volgende:
Quote:
Just read this whole thread and think that you guys sum up very well the dilema that is prototype racing. Obviously we at Radical are well pleased that Martin Short is on board. He wants to take us to Le Man, a mountain we had not intended to climb next year. But with the help of Peter Elleray, Nick Walford, Mike Lancaster (AER), Ian White (Recardo), Kieth Fairbrass (composite company), 80 Radical staff and my partners Phil Abbott and Tim Greaves, we will give it our best shot. We have produced a new car (the SR8 ) with our own V8 engine this Year and beat all commers, with an off the shelf car ( OK we had a little pain along the way), so we might as well aim high next year. If Martin gets his Le mans entries, contact me via our web site and I will get you a pit pass and you can see for yourself how barking mad we all are.
My first visit to Le Mans was to see BRM do three laps and then expire. Hopefully Radical can give the Brits something more proffesional to cheer about.
