Tis Cosworth geworden in 2006........................Button staat nu al te juichen, die hoeft dus niet naar Williams te gaan. Toen Button tekende mocht en kon hij er vanuit gaan dat Williams in 2006 voorzien zou zijn van BMW motoren. Door het gesteggel tussen Williams en BMW en de daarbijbehorende scheiding wordt Button nu geconfronteerd met een team dat niet meer de beschikking heeft over een "fabrieksdeal". Kijk, dan gelden weer andere wetten..........Button komt dus nu gemakkelijker (goedkoper?) onder zijn contract uit met Williams.
