Nou, een compleet nieuw team (zoals Toyota destijds) moet een borg van 24 miljoen USDollar betalen aan de FIA (ben ik hierin juist ?) .............dat geld krijgen ze wel geloof ik terug over de duur van twee jaar. Die regel is ooit ingevoerd na de blamages met Simtek, Pacific, Forti en Lola.

Nieuwe teams kunnen ook geen aanspraak maken op tv- en reisgelden. Dat schijnen geen misselijke bedragen te zijn. Minardi heeft volgend jaar aardig wat inkomsten uit tv- en reisgelden na hun puntenregen in Indianapolis.

Zal dus voor Red Bull een simpele rekensom zijn welke optie de minste miljoenen kost
