F1-Formula One moves to
avoid World Cup clash

LONDON (Reuters) -
Qualifying for the
European Formula One
Grand Prix at Germany's
Nuerburgring on June 22
has been brought forward
to avoid a clash with
soccer's World Cup
quarter-finals.

The International
Automobile Federation
(FIA) said in a
statement that the
one-hour session at the
circuit would start 45
minutes earlier than
originally scheduled and
would finish at 1115
GMT.
