Wat betreft de crash van GPR/Dumaery en Xerox Corvette.............zijn die het gevolg van de aanpassingen aan het circuit vanwege de F1? De wagens komen terecht op het spekgladde natte groene asfalt aan de rechterkant van Blanchimont, spinnen en knallen vervolgens links in de vangrails. In vroeger dagen toen er nog grind en gras lag ging niemand daarover heen........met als gevolg geen crashes 
Spa is een F1-veilig circuit maar niet voor andere vormen van autosport.
