Nog geen 12 uur later laat het team, via italiaracing.net, weten dat beide deals nog niet rond zijn. Vooral over Soucek zijn er twijfels. Op het 10-10's forum laat de enige echte Alfonso de Orleans geen spaan heel van deze Spaanse F3 kampioen.

As for Soucek, Toyota owes a drive to the champion, but they will be wasting their time with him. Won the championship by pure luck and does not deserve the drive. He has been doing Spanish F3 for four years and basically does not have the level, but Risatti's heavy driving in the last race which caused a 15 car pile up bumped him up from 4th in the championship to 1st. Go figure...

Wat betreft Pons Racing, daar schijnt het op het vlak van de centjes niet lekker te zitten. Steeds meer geruchten dat het team de startgrid van de WSbR in Zolder niet gaat halen.
