American troops go Indy 500 in 2006!
Het leger in de racerij? Dat komt wel vaker voor. In Nascar zie je langer "US Army" stickers voorbij komen. Afgelopen jaar heeft de Nederlandse Landmacht een succesvolle campagne gevoerd in de Seat Cupra Cup op Zandvoort.
Echter dit nieuwe plan uit de States slaat alles qua opzet. Via de Indy 500 de troepen die in het buitenland in actie zijn moreel steunen. Het teken in de States om je steun te betuigen aan de soldaten die in het buitenland in actie zijn is een "Yellow Ribbon". Vandaar de teamnaam => www.yellowribbonracing.com
Benieuwd of deze opzet van de grond komt. Het publiek en bedrijven die de troepen sponsoren...........en gedeelte van het sponsorgeld komt ten goede van het raceteam.
