Delettre was tijdens de 1000km "clerk of the course", bij de rest van het ietwat karige bijprogramma speelde hij wel voor koersdirecteur. Maakt ook niet uit wie er als directeur aawezig was. Een code rood geef je direct of na enkele minuten als de situatie ernstiger blijkt te zijn dan het eerste zicht laat vermoeden. Echter pas na 15 minuten? Dan klopt ergens iets niet
