In de F1 is een ingegroeide teennagel al reden genoeg om de derde man in te zetten 
Viervoudig Dover winnaar Ricky Rudd zal de plaats na enkele ronden overnemen van Tony Stewart. De punten die Rudd eventueel gaat behalen, tellen ook voor Stewart mee. Niet alleen een heldendaad van Stewart maar ook een logische beslissing ($$$$$$  ) voor het kampioenschap. Op dat punt lopen die Amerikanen nog mijlen voor op ons hautaine Europeanen
