In het verslag van Seat wordt er enorm geklaagd over 2 voordelen die BMW heeft: start en hogere topsnelheid.

Quote:
Gabriele Tarquini: "The problem is that the BMW is so very much faster in the straights and, of course, at the start. The FIA must do something, because it’s very difficult to beat a car with that kind of advantage, as we saw today."
Quote:
Peter Terting: "“The tactic I talked about after qualifying nearly worked - certainly in the first race - but if you watched the start of the second race you’d have seen the problem we have. A front-wheel drive car can never compete equally with rear-wheel drive; Dirk started from position seven and before the first corner he was in third place. The FIA have to think about this because there is clearly something wrong. Okay, fourth and eighth are better than it looked at this time yesterday, but I don’t want to be fourth, I want to win. Qualifying didn’t go too well, but after the big fight to get to eighth, I lost it all at the start and that’s not fair.”
