Die zu klärende Frage ist nur, welchen Hersteller Carlin zum Einstieg bewegen kann. In der Formel 3 ist er mit der Honda-Tochter Mugen verbandelt, doch ein DTM-Einstieg von Honda lag bisher in weiter Ferne. Angeblich will die Toyota-Luxus-Marke Lexus noch in diesem Monat über ein DTM-Engagement entscheiden.
