Belgian Marc Goossens has been helping Robert Yates Racing with their road course program, and got the chance to run for that organization at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. In his Busch Series debut, he finished in the top 10 and earned a start in Yates' third car this week.
Most importantly, he competed at the Glen only a couple of months ago, and finished 11th in a six-hour sports car race. He may not earn another top 10, but he is almost guaranteed to finish better than Elliott Sadler or Dale Jarrett.
