Klopt, BMW verlaat de ALMS........een (kleine) kans dat PTG als privateer verder gaat. BMW ziet geen nut in het racen met een model dat niet meer te koop is in 2007. De E90-M3 is op zijn vroegst in 2008 beschikbaar.
Daarnaast zijn de resultaten van PTG dit jaar niet geweldig te noemen. Plannen om er turbo's bij te zetten of er een M5 V8 in te lepelen kregen een veto van BMW. Idem dito voor de Z4 M Coupe.
