Already in the early stages of the second free practice gearbox problems re-appeared on the Gillet Vertigo.
Renaud: We have a problem with the selection of the gears, These are the same symptoms as during the 24 hours in Spa, two weeks ago. In the knowledge that the gearbox was reconditioned after Spa we really need to talk to the gearbox supplier because this is not the way to do things.
We are not going to do the Qualifying session toninght. Instead the mechanics are going to strip down the engine and gearbox in the hope that we will be ready for tomorrows warm-up session and race.
