Uit de laatste berichten van de Autosport worden de signalen van een debuut van de C4 WRC in 2006 steeds sterker. Behalve een fabrieksteam bestaat de (grote) kans dat Kronos in 2007 enkele C4's krijgt voor een privateer-team. Mogelijke kandidaten? Pons, Henning Stolberg en Stohl.
