Uit een klein berichtje van de MSA 21-11:
FIAT neemt deel aan de Dakar 2007 met twee wagens van het type Panda Cross (1.3 Ltr, 105 PK bij 4500 rpm) Een van de coureurs is overigens een bekende naam  Ene Miki Biasion.
Tevens heeft de laatste rit rondom het Lac Rose een andere status gekregen. Zou nu als een soort Grand Prix verreden. Winnaar van de Dakar op zaterdag en op zondag een aparte winnaar van de Grand Prix.
