Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone has questioned A1GP's capabilities to become a GP2-like winter series in the future.
Ecclestone is keen to set up an Asian-based series to run during GP2's off-season, but, amids speculation that he has been discussing a deal with A1GP chairman Tony Teixeira, the Briton says is not convinced the series would be the right base.
