DTM - Audi and Mercedes-Benz test in the Lausitz region
With the end of its seventh round, held at Zandvoort, DTM entered its summer break. Still, the teams are anything but inactive. Audi tested at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz this Monday and Tuesday. The tests were contested with two Audis A4 DTM that were driven by Timo Scheider and Martin Tomczyk. The main goals of the testing work were the enhancement of the 2007-spec car and component tests for Audi’s 2008 DTM racer. In addition to testing with the DTM cars, Audi also tested with the Audi R10, winner of the Le Mans 24-hour race. These tests were executed by Emanuele Pirro. At the same time, Mercedes-Benz is busy, too. The Stuttgart based brand will go testing in the Lausitz region on Thursday and Friday.
