Hierbij neemt eerst een vaste testcoureur van Ferrari plaats in de bolide om een shakedown uit te voeren, en na een kwartier krijgt de nieuwe eigenaar ook de mogelijkheid om de eerste meters in zijn nieuwe auto te maken. Bij Versluis kwam het echter niet zover. “De testcoureur had de versnellingsbak volledig op manueel gezet maar maakte daarna tijdens zijn stint een schakelfout, waardoor de versnellingsbak van de auto kapot ging”, legt Peter Versluis uit.
