British TVR team to take on Spa enduro…..oftewel belcar-related.
British GT Championship regular Martin Short’s Rollcentre squad will race in the Spa 24 hours next month. The team has entered the TVR Cerbera it raced in Britian in 2000 for the FIA GT Championship round in conjunction with its new Belgian owner (lees Marc Minne, naar ik dacht)
The machine is eliglible for the enduro under the rules for the local Belcar series, from which cars have been invited to bolster the grid. Short will share the six-cylinder car, which won a British GT round outright at Spa in 2000, with TVR regulars Simon Pullan and Rob Barff.
Conclusies:
-hehe, eindelijk zien we de beloofde TVR!
-tis een Cerbera, dus niet de angstige Speed 12 of Speed 6
-Volgens mij heeft de belcar een onofficiele 8ste race tijdens de 24U van Spa, es kijken hoeveel bekenden we gaan terugzien.
Nog wat nieuws over Carsport:
-Als de Vipers niet ge-update mogen worden voor het seizoen 2003, dan zal Hezemans niet terugkeren met een Viper in de FIA GT.
-De superwagen van Carsport (Pagonda geloof ik), mag geen gebruik maken van een AMG gekietelde motor. Mercedes Benz heeft een veto uitgesproken over het gebruik hiervan. Het windtunnel-model zou zo goed als klaar zijn.
