MOORESVILLE, N.C., (December 5, 2002) --- North Carolina has hit hard with a Icy Winter storm Wednesday night. This is the time of year that race teams are busy preparing their cars for the 2003 season. This storm brought the work to a halt at many race shops Thursday as power was out to over 1 million people across the state. I traveled through Race City USA and took some photos of the icy weather from a Nascar Fans point of view. The weather should improve this weekend and the work will no doubt go on as the teams prepare for pre-season testing at Daytona.
