Following the reports in Autosport of ASCAR officials planning to visit Warneton, I emailed the track's owners (CAMSO) and here's the response I've just received via Colin Casserley:-

"The last week, there is a lot of indirect contact from Ascar (either from
Ascar teams). I phoned Colin White half an hour ago; he confirmed me that he
will come to our test day of the Camso V8, with his car to compare the 2
formulas; there should be more Ascar drivers and eventually officials to
come over to see the facilities and judge the possibilities of Ascar racing
at Warneton. A possible date could be 29 June, one week before the
Lausitzring (the cars are already underway).
P.S. Test day for Camso V8: 22 + 23 february or 01 + 02 March depending on
the weather (if the forecast is rainy for the first weekend, it will be
postponed a week later - decision taken on Friday morning 21 Febr.) Look at
our website or phone.

You're obviously closer to CAMSO than anybody else here (except Colin White), so maybe you can keep us updated in future?

PS - Good to see a response from them. It seems that our continental friends (such as Motors TV) are more forthcoming with information than our UK based organisations.
