Wieth Ferrari

Wieth Ferrari Drives Available At Spa
Florian Hebel, Team Manager at Wieth Racing, has one or two seats available in the team’s Ferrari 550 at the Proximus 24 Hours.

“We would offer a free test with the car in Dijon on Wednesday or Thursday this week. I know it is a little bit short notice…..the current line-up is Niko Wieth and Wolfgang Kaufmann. Vittorio Zoboli unfortunately is unable to take part at Spa.”

“Interested drivers can call me (or Niko Wieth) - +49 170 8018210.”

Florian is confident that unreliability – more little niggles than significant issues – are behind the team now. Wieth Racing has also been working on tuning out the understeer that has been a feature of the car’s handling this year. “A test on the A1-Ring in Austria last Friday showed us that we are definitely on the right way now. Also the problem of reliability should be solved as the two belts that were always teasing us seem to stay at their place now, after several modifications to the pulleys.”

The Ferrari will also have a new engine for Spa, engineered and built up by Oral Engineering in Italy. This company is led by Mauro Forghieri, the well known former Ferrari F1 engineer.
