Pagani gaat er op vooruit!
Pagani Comes Good
Toine Hezemans brings the good news from the head to head test between the Pagani Zonda and the Force One team’s Estoril and Monza polesetting Viper.
A two day test at magny cours on wednesday and Thursday saw the pagani run with no problems. “We have done a full race distance without any problems at all. No problems during the whole two days,” reports Hezemans
“ In order to see how competitive the Zonda is with its new seven litre engine and a lightweight x trax box, we did a comparison run between the Viper and the Pagani. Both driven by Mike (Hezemans) and both on the same Pirelli tires. To our surprise we have seen that the Pagani made exactly the same times as our Viper. The Pagani being quicker in the corners
And losing slightly in sheer power.
Philippe Alliot and Luca Capellari also got seat time in the new car at Magny Cours and were were both impressed by the speed and reliability of the Zonda. Even Jean Pierre Jabouille (Force One’s engineer) has tried the car.
The most likely scenario now for Force One is a 2 car Pagani entry in the 2004 FIA GT Championship with Luca Capellari also looking to enter a third car in the Italian championship with the Racing Box team.
