Three cars in the ETCC for SEAT: Rickard Rydell to race with SEAT



SEAT will enter a third car in this season's European Touring Car Championship (ETCC). It will be driven by the Swede Rickard Rydell, one the most successful drivers in touring car racing. "I am looking forward to our future cooperation", says Rickard Rydell. "This year will be a big challenge and I am absolutely convinced that SEAT can be very competitive".

Rickard, who raced for Volvo last year, will drive one of the three cars entered by SEAT. The car he will race is a SEAT Toledo Cupra prepared by the competent staff at SEAT Sport in Spain. His teammates will be Jordi Gene and Frank Diefenbacher, who raced last season in the ETCC with SEAT.

The participation of Rickard Rydell in the SEAT team has been made possible through the support by SEAT Sweden.
