Gisteren tijdens de opening van het Grand-Am Cup seizoen 2005 heeft de Mustang zijn eerste overwinning behaald in de Grand-Am Cup 200 race.
De Mustangs in de Grand Am Cup klasse draaien een 2.05 op Daytona, de snelste Porsche GT3 Cups draaien 1.56 aldaar. Zou dus betekenen dat een Renault Clio Cup sneller / net zo snel is dan dit woeste beest
