LMES round 1: 1000 km of Spa
Vandaag zijn er 2 vrije trainingen gepland. De resultaten zullen op http://www.race-rally.be/2005/1000km...s/liveresults/ verschijnen.

Veel mooier/overzichtelijker dan het copy/paste werk hierboven van Scapa en je kan per categorie sorteren. LMP1 is zeer close (5 wagens binnen een kleine seconde) en GT2 is redelijk verrassend (Ferrari 360s voor Porsches en LNT TVRs doen het ook bijzonder goed).

Waar is de Corvette van GLPK - Carsport? Hij heeft zonet de 2e vrije training ook niet meegereden...

Had toch iets beter verwacht van de Audi R8, tijdens de 2e vrije training zijn ze 8e, op 3 a 4 seconden van de snelste...
Misschien houden ze zich in voor het grotere werk?
Wel leuk om te zien dat het spannend is voor de eerste 3 plaatsen, dat beloofd voor zondag.

Beste Carrera,
GLPK-Carsport Holland neemt niet deel aan de LMES-Race op Spa.
Zie al eerder voorgaande persberichten op tal van autosport-sites.

De Audi gaat gewoon niet sneller door de talloze restricties: kleinere restrictor (dus 50 pk minder), groter gewicht (50 kg meer) en een kleine brandstoftank (10 liter inhoud minder).

Het is zo goed als onmogelijk voor Oreca om LMES wedstrijden te winnen. In Le Mans zullen ze ook een stuk trager zijn dan de rest en ook niet meer kunnen profiteren van de FSI technologie; ze kunnen enkel hopen dat de rest problemen krijgt.

Is eigelijk wel zonde.
Maar dat zal het er zeker wel spannender op maken!
Is deze R8 trouwens ook dezelfde wagen die LeMans gaat rijden?

Momenteel een natte baan in Francorchamps. De Zytek van o.a. Shimoda is gecrasht op de Raidillon en zorgde voor een rode vlag.

How is the weather in Spa? Is there any danger of the races being cancelled tomorrow because of fog etc.? I would like to know this before leaving tomorrow morning because we made bad experiences with the weather at the Nürburgring in the last weeks. CHC and GLP have been cancelled because of heavy fog today...

De Pescarolo en Oreca Audi zijn op regenbanden vertrokken en leiden het peleton, ze draaiden veel sneller in het begin maar nu beginnen de intermediates van de anderen hun voordeel te halen lijkt het .... zien waar dat eindigt

Net op de livestreaming gewoon onboard beelden gezien van de Menx 550, nu beelden van de bandenwissel bij roll centre racing dallara nissan ... schitterend !!! zo moet het !! De RTBF zal er wel iets mee te maken hebben vermoed ik
