nieuw logo sauber

"Please note that our company and our Formula One team have changed names. As of January 1, 2002, the company becomes Sauber Motorsport AG. The 2002 Formula One team is Sauber-Petronas and there is a new logo."

"The name Sauber Petronas Engineering AG remains unchanged. Our address, phone and fax numbers do not change. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."

The name change is a result of the loss of Red Bull sponsorship, which now switches to Tom Walkinshaw's Arrows outfit.

Het kleine Sauber wordt groot (groter?). Ze hebben Red Bull niet meer nodig (..kuch, ..kuch)

Alles is relatief hé.

Ik kan me best voorstellen dat 50 jaar geleden mensen vonden dat een paard tegen een gele achtergrond ook vrij saai was. Na vele roemrijke overwinningen staat dat logo nu op zo'n 50% van de petjes en vlaggen en t-shirts en ........

Misschien lopen we binnen 20 jaar wel allemaal met een Sauber-petje rond

De toetreding tot MotoGP zal ook een reden zijn voor de naamverandering en het logo.
