![]() #1 Anna Nicole Smith is an ex Playboy fold out who relieved a 90 year old Texas billionaire of much of his money then inherited the rest when he died. Court battles still in progress. #2 To amplify somewhat on what David said about Anna Nicole, and as you're a Doctor, I'm sure you'll understand the following medical jargon... Anna Nicole had rather ENORMOUS after-market headlights... #3 To add to the gaiety, Anna Nicole is also kind enough to dress so those aftermarket headlights have independent front suspension. #4 And to throw in some car slug jargon, she also had an automatic reset on her odometer! Click the button (you know what button) and the mileage (you know what kinda mileage) went to zero! And if you "don't know", it's too late to explain! #5 So.. does she have them aligned according to factory specifications, with positive camber, or have they been set up for better handling, bearing in mind the roll stiffness of the non-independant rear end? #6 As in all matters relating to factory specifications, authenticity and/or anything involving a technical inspection and/or the analysis of test data, test drives, track tests and hot lap analysis, I defer all comments and answers to our on staff engineer and his factory manuals and drawings. Who could possibly argue against Anna Nicole and other similar models being true to the original Factory drawings? I believe the consensus of this group is that the factory drawings are NEVER wrong nor has any road or racing version of the Tipo Anna Nicole been built in deviation to the aforementioned original Factory drawings. I do, however, believe the rear end on this particular example is fully independent, and features fully adjustable spring rate, bump and rebound. However past analysis has proven me to be consistently wrong, so... it can be taken as gospel that the above comment is inaccurate. I understand that test time is available with this model and other similar models from this Tipo, but at very high rates and with no guarantees that the leaser will qualify. #7 One thing's for sure: There are lots of replicas out there! #8 I checked the factory drawings for Tipo Anna Nichole and they definitely specify a live rear end with a low bump stiffness. The hire model you refer to might have been modified from another Tipo. #9 Having met my share (and then some) of the hire models I assure you they were not all built from the same factory drawings. Specifications, prices and mileage vary tremendously. They can usually be spotted (no serial numbers, to date) near Limos, Lear jets, beach front estates and very expensive hotels. These observations are made only from a discreet distance, of course. |
