Wink De Procar leeft weer..............in Duitsland
Behalve de Langstrecken Pokal op de Nürburgring is er in Duitsland niet echt een GT-kamioenschap. In een land waar zoveel automerken vandaan komen is het endurance racen niet echt ingeburgerd. In het STT en de Divinol Cup zie je wel wat GT wagens voorbij komen maar de races vallen onder de noemer Sprint.

In 2005 is het de bedoeling om van start te gaan met de ADAC-Procar-Serie , een klasse die zijn plaats zal vinden in de Beru Top 10 weekends. Het reglement is nog niet bekend maar het heeft veel weg Belcar en DSC qua toelating van de wagens.

Niet alleen GT of N-GT maar ook Cups, V8star en Specials uit de Langstrecken Pokal. Zeer benieuwd wat die Duitsers op de baan gaan brengen..........

Races zullen +/- 75 minuten gaan duren, per wagen zullen er twee piloten zijn. Meer info zal verschijnen tijdens de motorshow in Essen......

ik kan mij vergissen, maar is 75 minuten niet wat kort voor endurance?

nope: 2X 60'
britisch GT: ook 2x 60'
Frans GT : ook 2x 60'
Ik zie een patroon hier.
Dus uitzonderlijk is het niet.

Maar idd, op Spa duurden de DSC races 60 minuten

GT races die +/- een uurtje duren, daar zal dan wel behoefte aan zijn. Gevoelsmatig zeg ik dat een echte GT race minimaal 120 moet duren..........kan niet echt onder woorden brengen waarom, het is een gevoel.

Toch wel enigzins opmerkelijk dat pas na jaren er weer een Duits GT kampioenschap in de maak is.

In GB hebben verscheidene teams gevraagd achter langere races. Toch meer waar voor je geld.

vind ik ook. minder is gewoon een wat lang uitgevallen sprint-race...

Ziet er idd goed uit. Een van de Vipers van Zwaans (#10, ex Roos) is trouwens verkocht aan Vonka Racing, die ermee wouden gaan rijden in een Duits kampioenschap. Zou me niks verbazen als dat het PROCAR was.

"Nonkel Tonnie" moet geen schrik hebben, de Ultima's mogen niet in FIA GT rijden... Tenzij dat ook plots is veranderd ?

De Procar leeft weer..............in Duitsland

Voor het laatste nieuws over Duits racen moet je vandaag de dag in Italie zijn. Door het wegvallen van een aantal sponsors komen de Procar en de DMSB-serie (Duitse versie van het ETCC/WTCC) in het gevaar.

Zeer benieuwd hoe dit verder gaat, als zelfs in Duitsland de crisis keihard toeslaat dan mogen we zeer blij zijn met de volle velden bij het BTCS en Belcar

End of story. Diverse Duitstalige sites maken melding dat het kampioenschap in 2005 niet van start gaat. Wellicht hier en daar een demo-race.................

Dat het DMSB aan een zijden draadje hing wist ik, maar dat Procar zo onzeker was wist ik niet.
