Britcar 24 uur 8/9 sept. 2006, o.a. debuut Duller BMW Z4.

Een nauwkeurige deelnemerslijst heb ik nog niet kunnen vinden op de summiere site van de EERC. De link naar de timing van MST is ook al niet de juiste.......met wat gepriegel toch op de plaats van bestemming geraakt: http://www.msttiming.com/meeting.asp...ttype=eercclub De Duller BMW Z4 staat na de eerste quali op een tweede plaats, achter de GT3 Mosler van Rollcentre. Tijdens dit weekend rijden de gasten van het DSC ook. Dat geeft qua tijden een leuke indicatie. De pole in de Britcar en het DSC liggen niet ver uit elkaar. Wel mooi om te zien dat ze 52 wagens aan de start hebben voor een 24 uurs-race bij edite 2 van deze race.

Duller Z4 ligt na bijna 5 uur al op 15 ronden, die hebben dus al een probleem te pakken gehad.

We zijn 6 uur ver in de race en de top vijf is deze:
1. nr2 Eclipse Motorsport 154r 2. nr20 Chad Racing LTD 151r 3. nr27 Team Parker RAC 151r 4. nr35 Moore International 150r 5. nr32 Adam Sharpe MSP 150r De Duller-BMW ligt op de 16e plaats ondertussen en lijkt terug te komen naar voor in de stand.

Top 5 na 8u en 30minuten te hebben geraced:
1. 911virgin.com/Porsche 996 GT3 Cup/220t 2. Moore International/BMW M3 E46/219t 3. Team Parker Racing/Porsche 996 GT3 Cup/218t 4. Adam Sharpe MSPort/Ford Falcon/218t 5. Eclipse Motorsport/Mosler GT3 RS/216t 6. Duller Motorsport/BMW MZ4 GTR/215t Duller BMW rijd op het ogenblik pakken sneller als de rest, steeds zo'n 5 seconden sneller als de overige snelle wagens!! Als de Z4 geen problemen meer krijgt moet hij zo naar de overwinning kunnen rijden. We zien wel wat ervan komt...

Duller heeft na een vroeg probleempje toch wel zeer gemakkelijk gewonnen.
De Z4 GTR lijkt me klaar voor de volgende 24 uren wedstrijd... Bahrein? Dubai? Ook een zeer mooie 2de plaats voor Moore in z'n BMW E46 M3!! Weliswaar met 16 rondes achter de Z4. Resultaat: http://www.msttiming.com/result.asp?...verstonegp.gif
