Bonus voor Duval
Na zijn zeer goede prestatie in Zweden mag Duval in Corsica als beloning opnieuw met een WRC aan de slag.

“Put it this way: in Corsica, I’m basically leaving him to his own devices. I’m giving him the decision as to what he wants to do and I’ll not be concerned – OK, I don’t want him to have an accident – but the ball is in his court on that one. The other ones I will take a view on. Obviously, Finland, things like that, he will be under orders again as he was in Sweden.”

Duval’s 2002 programme involves a mixture of Focus and Puma World Championship drives, but Ford intends to give him a shot at the full world series in a WR Car in 2004.

Stelt u voor; Duval zet in Corsica weeral een prachtprestatie neer, dan kunnen ze m toch nie terug in zo'n pumake steken eh!

Duval for world champion in.... 2002!!!??

Laten we met zijn allen nu reeds hopen dat Francis Duval volgend jaar naast grootheden als Carlos Sainz en Colin McRae deel mag uitmaken van het grote Ford Team als evenwaardige derde piloot.

Wat hebben ze vorig jaar met Loeb gedaan, een schitterende 2de plaats met de Xsara en dan volgende koers linea directa naar de Saxo...
