Race & Rally International
 DTM-rijders Christian Abt en Mattias Ekström op Race&Rally 2003 Christian Abt (D) en Mattias Ekström (S) zullen, in het kader van de speciale DTM-show, acte de présence geven op Race&Rally International, van 17 t/m 19 januari 2003 in het MECC te Maastricht. Abt en Ekström maken beide deel uit van het kampioensteam van ABT-Sportsline. De 25-jarige Ekström behaalde een zeer verdienstelijke 3e plaats in het eindklassement van de Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. Christian Abt reed zijn Abt-Audi TT-R naar een 7e plek in de eindklassering. Daarnaast is Race&Rally International verheugd om Wealer als partner te mogen begroeten. Nou, menig limburger heeft toch een naar gevoel aan de combinatie: motorsportshow + mecc. Dat fiasco (Bernd Konings)van twee jaar geleden blijft toch rondspoken. Weet wel dat de huidige organisatie daar niets mee te maken heeft, maar het is wel een tempering in de verwachtingen.

Wat je zegt is waar, maar dat was in het verleden.
Nu moeten we naar de toekomst kijken, en wat ik aan insider-info heb, maar helaas niet mag prijs geven, zal het een super-evenement worden. Kijk maar eens naar de lijst van sponsoren, die is niet mis meen ik zo, en zei zullen toch wel weten waar ze hun geld in steken. Wanneer komt Mark nog eens posters op halen in Kerkrade?? Nieuwe look internetsite
De internetsite van Race&Rally heeft een nieuwe look gekregen. De vernieuwde huisstijl sluit nu aan op de nieuwe advertentielijn, die Race&Rally in samenwerking met Advance Communications is ingeslagen. Unieke prijzen op Race&Rally Op Race&Rally International 2003 maakt het publiek kans op prachtige prijzen. Zet bijvoorbeeld de snelste tijd neer met Colin McRae Rally Contest of de DTM Race Driver en maak kans om op het Central Stage op een splitscreen een race te rijden tegen een DTM-rijder. De snelste tijd over het hele weekend is bij de Rally Contest goed voor een bezoek aan de Codemasters-ontwikkelingsstudio en de Ford rallyfabriek in Engeland, beschikbaar gesteld door Codemasters. Realiseer je de snelste tijd bij het DTM Race Driver-spel dan is een complete, unieke Gamechopper ter waarde van € 4.900,-, die beschikbaar wordt gesteld door Pitbox Race Events, van jouw. Jos Verstappen Karting actief op Race&Rally 2003 Het team van Jos Verstappen Karting zal het kartgedeelte van de show in de Live Action Arena voor haar rekening nemen. Van Race & Rally International.
Het Alstare Suzuki Corona Motorteam aanwezig op Race&Rally International 2003 Eén van de toonaangevende teams uit de motorsport zal zich presenteren op Race&Rally International 2003. Het Alstare Suzuki Corona Motorteam is actief in diverse klassen van de motorsport zoals Superbike, Supersport en Superstock. De rijders Katsuaki Fujiwara (Japan) en Stéphane Chambon (Frankrijk) hebben respectievelijk een tweede en derde plaats veroverd in het eindklassement van het WK Supersport 2002. Hieronder staan een aantal foto’s van het team: Race&Rally International aanwezig op de Motorshow in Essen Het team van Race&Rally International zal op de Motorshow in Essen zich presenteren aan de vele auto- en motorsport liefhebbers. Op onze Race&Rally-stand zullen we informatie verstrekken over het evenement en u kunt zelf het stuur ter hand nemen bij de DTM Race Driver Game Contest, die samen met Pitbox Race Events en Codemasters georganiseerd wordt. De snelste tijd over de gehele beurs wordt beloond met een prachtige Gamechopper, terwijl Codemasters prachtige dagprijzen ter beschikking heeft gesteld. Europees Renault Clio Kampioen 2002 en FIA GT rijder Phil Bastiaans zal ons team een aantal dagen ondersteunen. We staan in hal 8.1 op stand S.02. U bent uiteraard van harte welkom op onze stand! Race&Rally Testdag
Na de eerste succesvol verlopen testdag (oa. met Renault Clio's, diverse Formule-wagens en Supermotards)werd wederom voor een aantal teams en rijders een test georganiseerd om alvast kennis te maken met wat straks de Live Action Arena van Race&Rally moet gaan worden. In actie kwamen de volgende rijders / teams: Jos Verstappen Karting, Michael Schumacher Kart-Center, Henk Vossen – Mitsubishi Evo, Henk de Boer – Ferrari Modena en Roland Vlietstra – Ford Focus. Foto’s en video’s van de testdag vind je onder ‘News’ op onze website www.race-rally.net Met Roland Vlietstra en Henk Vossen heeft Race&Rally International er wederom twee topcoureurs bij! Het rallyveld dat aanwezig is op Race&Rally International Motorsportshow 2003 is verder uitgebreid met twee Nederlandse topequipes. Roland Vlietstra en Elke van Berlo besturen samen een Ford Focus uit de kersverse Ford Focus Tour. Henk Vossen bestuurt samen met Johan Findhammer de Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI in standaard Groep N uitvoering van het Helichem Rally Team. Zij zijn al jaren succesvol zowel in als buiten Nederland. In 1998 behaalde het Helichem Rally Team zelfs het Internationaal Nederlands Rally Kampioenschap, het Dutch Rally Open, de eredivisie van de Nederlandse rallysport. Beide equipes zullen in actie komen tijdens de spectaculaire shows in de Live Action Arena. Deze sportauto’s pur sang zijn gebouwd voor maar eén ding: Racen! Dit is precies wat deze bolides gaan doen op Race&Rally International 2003. De Ferrari’s 360 Modena zullen hun vermogen van 400 pk gaan loslaten in de Live Action Arena.
