Sebring TVR Shakedown
Racesports Salisbury, Hugh Chamberlain and staff, and TVR factory representatives were present at Snetterton yesterday, for what was effectively the shakedown of a brand new TVR Tuscan R chassis – destined for Sebring next month, and then Le Mans.
Rob Barff was the driver, and he drove “40 or so laps” of the Norfolk track, the car feeling “fantastic”.
“It was lovely to be back in a Tuscan R,” commented Barff. “It felt like a younger, better looking sister to the big Cerbera Speed 12 I drove last year. This is the slim, nimble, pretty one.”
The Speed 12 was presumably the ugly sister.
