Alhoewel vandaag het circuit voor het grootste gedeelte exclusief verhuurd was aan KTR en Racing Engineering ( World Series by Nissan) werd het toch nog een wreed goede oefening met zelfs een internationaal tintje. Gedurende de voormiddag kregen we slechts drie bolides te zien. Stephane Sarrazin (RE) en de beide KTR piloten Felix Porteiro (19j) en Paul Edwards. Na de break idem scenario tot om 14 uur de rest van de meute vrije baan kreeg. De Japanner Sakon Yamamoto en de Oostenrijker Bernhard Auinger manoeuvreerde hun Dallaro Toyota (F3 Euro series) bijna feilloos over het asfalt, iets wat ook Simon Horman (D) -Hans Hugenholtz (NL) -Patrick Van Schoote (B) deden met hun Spyker (American Le Mans Series). De sound van deze volledig uit aluminium vervaardigde racer vormde een mooi duet met de ex Belcar Mercedes van Deti Racing. De bijkomende Porsche van RTM (Touring Cup) maakte vandaag zijn opwachting met aan de trappers Jos Van Roy. Samen met een zestal Yarissen, een handvol Classic cars en enkele Radicals waaronder eentje uit de stal van Erik Qvick maakte zij samen de rest van het goede weer. Ik heb daar precies ook iets van gehoord... of misschien zelfs foto's van gezien... maar ik ben niet zeker hoor...
