ik krijg de laatste tijd bijna dagelijks zovan die irritante MSN Messenger pop-ups op mijn schermpje, die door mijn firewall heen komen. Lavasoft Ad-Aware vindt niks speciaals, maar ik ben die pop-ups over 'university diplomas' of reclame voor anti-messenger-pop-ups (o ironie) toch wel grondig beu...

Iemand ook ervaring mee, en misschien een eventuele oplossing ?

Mijn oplossing bestaat erin MSN van mijn PC af te zwieren.

Wel, het gekke is, dat dit niks met MSN te maken heeft. Messenger zit - denk ik- standaard in Windows, gemaakt om berichten te sturen tussen pc's in een netwerk, door middel van gewone standaard berichtboxjes. Als je een soort van commando invoert '/sent message IP 218.2475.841 aloha, oude rakker ' (ofzo), dan krijg je op de pc met dat IP deze boodschap mooi in een windowsboxje weergegeven.....

Om te muggenziften:

tis "net send IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Aloha"
en dan krijgt de pc met dat ip de boodschap.

(zo amuseerden wij ons vorig jaar int school, totdat er iemand zo slim is geweest om "net send all SAAI" te doen, en dit dus naar alle 300 cpu's int schoolnetwerk stuurde, inclusief het secretariaat, departementshoofd en algemeen directeur... )

Windows Messenger ( en dus niet MSN Messenger ) kan afgezet worden via Services, te vinden in Administrative Tools in het Control Panel
Enkel de service messenger stoppen en in de properties ook startup type veranderen in disabled, voor bij de volgende PC start de service weer niet enabled te hebben...

Ik heb dat probleem tot nu toe nog maar éénmaal voorgehad. Msn eraf zwieren zie ik niet zitten dus ...

waar geef je dat commando dan in? In dos lijkt het niet te lukken. Ik ken het net send wel, maar dan op een NT, en dat is anders.
