Terwijl het grootste gedeelte van de Belgische racers reeds hun tenten opsloegen over onze taalgrens, arriveerde menig oosterbuur op het Limburgs circuit. Dat de Westfalen Pokal Rennen (Beru Top 10) dichterbij komt zal daar wel niet vreemd aan zijn. Catalano, Nerpel, Leipert, Seyffarth, Paár, Theobald en Weiss waren er met hun formule König. Formule BMW was vertegenwoordig door Wirth, Arnold, Weigl en Wlazik. Acht Beru Yarissen eiste hun deel van het asfalt op maar hadden als gezel de Yaris van Kelly Jamers die nog even kwam inrijden vooraleer af te zakken naar Francorchamps. Dit was ook de intentie van het RTM team, was het niet dat een technisch probleem de Porsche van Penders-Goossens geruime tijd aan de kant hield. Ook de BMW Z3 GT V8 van de Nederlander Van Elderen en onze landgenoot De Lannoy draaide nog wat moeilijke rondjes alvorens het hele boeltje via de E313 naar de stad van het spuitwater te transporteren. Christiaan Voet en Dries Heyman profiteerde er vandaag ook nog even van om op een bijna leeg circuit de sporen te geven aan hun De Paddock Clio. Waarschijnlijk verdwenen ook zij daarna richting Circuit Nationaal, het zij als toeschouwer en de Clio als promotie materiaal. Verder was er vandaag nog één Peugeot silhouet, de VW Beetle van Pohlen, een Nederlandse Porsche 928 racing, Schrick met zijn Ford Focus en een Japanse ex F3000 of was het een Koreaanse ex F1, zelfs de eigenaar twijfelt ????? Unglaublich, nicht? Eén zaak is zeker ”racing Vlaanderen vertoefd momenteel in Wallonie” !! Tot donderdag. Klik hier voor foto's

is dat niet de MAKI F1 uit Japan....heeft gellof ik maar 1 F1 race gereden.............
