Warm-up: RTM Porsche crashes heavily.
The morning warm-up session was driven in very tricky conditions. The track was still very cold; there even was frost on some places. Racing in these conditions is dangerous and Rudy Penders #31 Porsche experienced: “ I was driving at 80 km/h when the car brake out. I couldn’t control it anymore and hit the wall. The car is badly damaged but maybe we can repair it. The front and rear suspension are hit, the front left disk is broken and of course there is some body work damaged.”
Palttala was second fastest just behind Kuismanen, a small consolidation for the RTM team. It is no surprises that in these winter conditions two Finish drivers are fastest…
